Pero\u2026 \u00bfqu\u00e9 dice la ciencia?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En una publicaci\u00f3n que lleg\u00f3 a <strong>1.3 millones de seguidores<\/strong> en Instagram, la <strong>doctora Vonda Wright<\/strong>, <strong>cirujana ortop\u00e9dica deportiva<\/strong> de <strong>Orlando, Florida<\/strong>, asegura que consume <strong>al menos 130 gramos de prote\u00ednas al d\u00eda<\/strong>. Su mensaje es claro: las mujeres deben comer <strong>&#8220;mucha m\u00e1s prote\u00edna&#8221;<\/strong> de la que recomiendan las autoridades sanitarias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wright<\/strong> recomienda consumir hasta <strong>un gramo de prote\u00edna por cada 450 gramos de peso corporal ideal<\/strong>, una cifra que <strong>supera ampliamente las directrices federales<\/strong> de Estados Unidos. En entrevista con <strong>The New York Times<\/strong>, argument\u00f3 que esta dieta <strong>ayuda a mantener la fuerza muscular<\/strong> y previene <strong>fracturas de cadera<\/strong> conforme avanza la edad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfMito de Instagram o consejo con base cient\u00edfica?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El enfoque no est\u00e1 completamente fuera de lugar, aunque <strong>no es para todas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CONTIN\u00daA LEYENDO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alasmedios.com\/index.php\/2024\/10\/16\/menopausia-etapa-natural\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2300\">Menopausia: etapa natural<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Annina Burns<\/strong>, <strong>dietista<\/strong> de los <strong>Institutos Nacionales de Salud<\/strong>, explic\u00f3 que las mujeres y personas menstruantes que se acercan a la <strong>menopausia<\/strong> suelen experimentar <strong>aumento de peso abdominal<\/strong>, <strong>p\u00e9rdida de masa muscular<\/strong> y <strong>reducci\u00f3n de densidad \u00f3sea<\/strong>, lo cual puede derivar en <strong>osteoporosis<\/strong>, <strong>diabetes tipo 2<\/strong> o <strong>fragilidad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las <strong>recomendaciones oficiales<\/strong> indican que los adultos deben consumir al menos <strong>0.36 gramos de prote\u00edna por cada 450 gramos de peso corporal<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eso representa apenas <strong>54 gramos diarios<\/strong> para una mujer de <strong>68 kilos<\/strong>.
